Emporio Canario gathers everyday objects, made of natural materials, with timeless design, crafted by Canarian creative hands full of wisdom.

Basing our work on human values, ethics and sustainability, we have created a place where we share these values and passions.

We carefully select the brands we work with, thus assuring product origin, quality and manufacturing conditions.

We pay attention to detail and only choose objects that we love and would buy for ourselves. The story behind these objects began with the selection of raw materials, their future lies in your hands.

Authentic hancrafts were the spark that ignited the idea behind Emporio Canario.

However, we have a naturally global way of thinking that includes much more than that and we couldn’t resist including a zero waste section that we feel goes hand in hand with the spirit of the rest of the shop.

What describes us the best? The criteria we use to select our products.

• Made in the Canary Islands: Most of our products are made in the Canary Islands, but you will also find products made in other destinations worldwide under a fair trade commitment.
• Handmade: We think it’s important to promote and preserve craftsmanship and small scale (but big love) productions.
• Sustainability: It’s one of the main criteria used when selecting new products. We like to make sure materials used in the making of our products are as natural, sustainable, biodegradable, recyclable, recycled and non toxic as possible.
• Durability: We think objects should be durable and be passed along to a friend or following generations – we love it that they can become heirlooms!
• Social Responsibility: We applaud suppliers that have a real commitment to social responsibility as well as environmentally friendly processes. We also feel strongly about promoting smaller brands and independent creators.
• Beauty: Besides the manufacturing process, we obviously give a great deal of importance to aesthetics. Beautiful objects can remain life-long companions.
